​Joining in 2020, Sophie’s work is built on the philosophy of quality over quantity. She specializes in capturing the rare, fleeting moments that most miss, driven by the belief that every wedding story deserves to be captured.

Alastair | Founder & Lead Storyteller
​A fourth-generation photographer, Alastair launched Herd’s Media in 2017. He carries a century of family legacy into modern storytelling, focusing on the honest narrative of your day through both photo and film.

Aston joined the team in 2024, bringing a fresh, detailed eye to our films. She focuses on unconventional angles and creative storytelling, pushing the boundaries of traditional wedding videography to create something truly different.

Absolutely Perfect – Couldn’t Have Asked for More!
From start to finish, Alistair and Sophie were incredible. They instantly put us at ease and brought such a fun, relaxed energy to the day. We had such a laugh with them – it honestly felt like having two more friends there with us.
Alistair started the day with the groom and groomsmen, while Sophie was with the brides and bridesmaids, which meant we could capture those special moments at both venues as we got ready – something that meant a lot to us.
Throughout the day, they were so professional but never intrusive, and the shots they captured were just stunning. The drone footage was such an amazing touch too – it really brought the whole day to life in a way we hadn’t expected.
We’ve already received our trailer video and it made me cry (in the best way!). It’s absolutely perfect – such a beautiful reminder of the best day ever.
We honestly couldn’t recommend them highly enough. If you’re thinking about booking them – do it! You won’t regret it.
